Route distance map

The route distance map calculates the driving distance along the road (not as the crow flies) and an approximate driving time by car. Add at least two stops – you get the total route length in kilometres and each leg separately.

How to use

1. Type an address or place name into the search (e.g. "Tartu" or "Vabaduse väljak 1, Tallinn") and press "Search".
2. Click a suitable result – the place is added to the map as a numbered stop.
3. Add the remaining stops the same way – from the second stop onwards the route is calculated automatically.
4. Stops can be moved up and down in the list or removed; the route is recalculated immediately.

The route is calculated by the public OSRM service on the OpenStreetMap road network, and the driving time is a typical car travel time without traffic.
