Basic exemption calculator

From 1 January 2026 the basic exemption in Estonia is €700 per month (€8,400 per year) for everyone, regardless of income – the previous gradual reduction ("tax hump") was abolished.

For comparison: in 2025 the exemption was up to €654 per month, decreasing from €1,200 gross income and disappearing at €2,100.
