Firewood calculator

Heating values are approximate, for dry wood (~20% moisture) per stacked m³. Wet wood gives up to a third less heat. The energy price (€/kWh) lets you compare firewood with electricity, pellets or gas. In the demand mode the annual heat need is divided by the heating value and the heater efficiency (stove ~70%, fireplace ~75%, boiler ~85%).
