Grain drying loss calculator

Drying removes water while the dry matter stays: dry amount = wet amount × (100 − initial moisture) ÷ (100 − target moisture). Storage moisture for grain is usually 14%. For example, 1000 kg at 20% gives about 930 kg at 14%. The figure shows only the water loss, not drying fuel or screenings.
