The calculator recommends a tree species and planting density based on soil moisture and fertility: dry sandy soils suit pine, fresh medium and fertile soils suit spruce, moist ground and former fields suit birch, and wet nutrient-rich sites suit black alder.

Recommended densities (Metsaühistu): pine ~3,000, spruce/birch/alder ~2,000 per hectare. The legal minimum is 2,600 for pine and 1,500 for spruce/birch. The seedling price is pre-filled with a species average – edit it to match your quote (potted stock costs more than bare-root).
