Parental benefit calculator (Estonia)

Parental benefit equals 100% of your average income of the 12 months preceding pregnancy. For children born in 2026 the cap is €3,806.10 per month (€5,265.09 for 2025 births); the minimum for a working parent is the minimum wage (€946 from 1 April 2026). From 2026 you may work freely while receiving the benefit. Paid for 605 days in total – see the Social Insurance Board for special cases.
