Privacy

This website is built to be as simple as possible – also with your data.

• All calculations happen on your own device. Amounts, dates and other inputs are never stored or sent to a server.
• Your language and theme choice, recently viewed calculators and your cookie preference are kept in the browser localStorage.
• To measure traffic we use Google Analytics. It loads only with your consent – on your first visit a banner asks for permission and you may decline. With consent, Google Analytics uses cookies; analytics never sees the data you enter.
• External requests: the currency calculator loads European Central Bank reference rates (frankfurter.dev). With consent, the Google Analytics script is loaded (googletagmanager.com). Neither carries the data you enter.
• The exception is the route distance map: it loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap and sends the addresses you enter and the stop coordinates to the OpenStreetMap Nominatim (address search) and OSRM (routing) services to calculate the road distance. No other data is shared with them.
• The AI salary assistant is also an exception: the question you type is sent to Anthropic's (Claude) service to compose an answer. Do not enter personal data or passwords there. The calculations are done by the site itself; only the text of your question goes to the AI.
